Sujoy Bhattacharya

Sujoy holds a B.Com (H) degree from Delhi University’s prestigious SRCC. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan (1996). Sujoy has worked extensively in India and the United States, in the corporate finance area, with a focus on energy related M&A and financing. While working for JP Morgan’s power investment banking business in New York, he was involved in advising clients on multi-billion dollar transactions in the United Sates, South America and Europe. These included cross-border M&A, leveraged buyouts and debt and equity financings. Between 2001 and 2005, Sujoy ran a boutique M&A advisory business and helped close several M&A transactions. During this period, he was also involved in establishing an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC) to buy distressed assets from Indian banks.

In 2006, Sujoy started GKS to provide high end financial research and analysis to investment banks, hedge funds and private equity investors. GKS provides a range of services from basic financial accounting to developing sophisticated financial models for valuation of securities.

Peeyush Dayal

Over his 14 year IT experience, Peeyush has lead large projects for Fortune 100 companies to building large teams in small companies. He currently owns a web development company OnSumaye Corp. that provides web development and consulting outsourcing services to major US clients out of India. Previous to this he was VP of Customer Operations at a US based web 2.0 startup out of Portland, OR. His addition to GKS provides us a great advantage in building technology solutions in addition to our analytics and research projects. Peeyush has studied in BITS, Pilani and has a BS from Portland State University, Oregon.

Harmeetpal Singh Bindra

Harmeet has been a serial entrepreneur, whose first venture was setting up one of the largest IT Consulting companies in South East Asia called SOLTIUS. Harmeet started Soltius from Jakarta in 1996 and within a span of 10 years grew the company from a 2 people company to a 1200 personnel organization with sales operations in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, United States, Middle East and China. Soltius had its back end centre in Gurgaon India which was started in the year 2002. The growth of Soltius was achieved organically and through certain strategic acquisitions including that of Intelligroup Asia Pacific business in the year 2003 when Intelligroup was a Nasdaq listed company.

In the year 2007 Harmeet exited from Soltius by divesting his equity to several strategic business partners.

Since the year 2007 Harmeet has invested in multiple businesses in two main sectors - Renewable Energy and niche IT/ITES ventures.

In the Renewable space, Harmeet has currently invested in two companies

• PT Nvision Indonesia branded as CarbonOne, the details may be seen on the website www.mycarbonone.com is a Carbon Credits Advisory and financial services company with operations in South East Asia and India. This company is involved in supporting customers with the consulting services, trading of carbon credits and financing of such projects.
• Sovox Renewables Pvt Ltd (www.sovoxglobal.com) .Sovox is actively involved in setting up solar based power plants in the country by adopting world class technologies available in the field of PV and Thermal.

In the IT and ITES space Harmeet remains invested in an IT services company active in the Middle East and a financial management services company which caters to clients in India and overseas.

In all his ventures, Harmeet has committed to put his personal time and resources. Further he brings along with him access to bankers, investors and customers with whom he has worked for over 10 years and assists in building a world class team of professional management.
